Hard rubbing can damage the graphic interface of the emulsion layer and even erase the emulsion layer, leaving only bare mesh.

When printing high-wire color images, the emulsifier film under the silk thread is only 5-6um thick, and the silk thread diameter of the mesh itself may only be 30um, which can not withstand hard friction. Therefore, the key to avoid rough decontamination is to prevent template contamination.

The main cause of template contamination is improper control of ink, resulting in dry ink in the mesh. In the use of solvent-based inks or water-based inks, the reason is that the ink is too thin or too thick. Should not change in the inking state. In the use of UV curing ink, should strive to avoid screen UV lamp exposure, also want to avoid sunlight.

Another ink control problem and improper printing speed control will lead to uneven supply, so that the ink-deficient mesh quickly dry solid.

The final cause of ink drying is scraping board Settings or has been wear and tear, by the high line number to print the level of subtle image, requires the use of ink scraping edge plate deformation happens in normal use or wear and tear, weeks and then with the decrease of image definition, this shows that the ink could not normally through the mesh, if this problem can't be settled in a timely manner, the ink will dry solid in the mesh. In order to avoid the above problems, the scraping board should be regularly turned over to extend the service life of its scraping edge, or before the quality of text and text printing has not declined to use a new scraping board.

In order for the mesh to function properly, you should also pay attention to cleaning ink or substrate on the dirt. Due to the electrostatic adsorption of pollutants in the air and poor storage conditions, the substrate surface will be contaminated with dirt, the above problems can be solved by improving the storage conditions and process control, in addition, the use of electrostatic devices and substrate cleaning device can also prevent dirt and dirt from the substrate surface into the mesh.

What should be done if the template is contaminated? When using a flat screen printing machine, stop the printing machine after printing a set of sheets, and then input a piece of blotting paper, screen and blotting paper contact.

Let the screen in the printing position, and then dip a non-abrasive soft cloth with screen cleaner to erase the stencil scraping ink surface dirt, do not force too hard, so that the dirt will fall through the mesh into the following absorbent paper, when necessary, can use a piece of absorbent paper to repeatedly clean the mesh. Some of the dirt particles that fall on top may be too big to flush through the mesh, but they can be glued together with a soft cloth. After cleaning, use a blower (call "cold air") to blow dry the template.

Different situations will be encountered when cleaning the rotary screen press. Due to structural design, dirt cannot be washed onto absorbent paper as it would be cleaned on a normal screen press. Fortunately, the printing speed is relatively fast, ink in the mesh hole dry solid is unlikely. If this happens, first of all, the printing press to stop after printing live parts, and then use a non-abrasive soft cloth screen cleaner or diluent dip in the top of the printed text and text parts of the template, pay attention to the solvent scrub the dirt in the mesh.

Sometimes you have to clean the dirt under the template. In this case, the dirt should be gently wiped away with a soft cloth, not too hard.
